The term "Gen X" goes hand-in-hand with the 80s. I mean, a stipulation of being part of that generation is that you experienced the 80s – either as a child or a young adult. However, plenty of Gen Xers got to grow up at the tail end of the 70s, and every single one of them were the picture of youth during the 90s. As a Gen Xer, you may not remember the most popular kids' cartoons and toys from all those 90s nostalgia memes, but you do remember being old enough to actually go to a Radiohead concert, watch Pulp Fiction in theaters, and experience the club culture dominated by house music.
